Measuring for your woolies:
Using a soft measuring tape, take the following measurements to get the best fit. Measurements should be taken with undergarments on to ensure the best fit.  You will get the most accurate measurements when they are taken by another person.

Bust: wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your bust, being careful to take the measurement trimly while not squeezing tightly.

High Hip: Choose a length (regular or cropped) For the regular length, wrap the measuring tape around your mid-hip. For the cropped version, measure at high hip where the garment will lay.

Length:  Choose your length (regular or cropped) Measure from the back of your neck to your high hip, where you have chosen your sweater to lay.

Size Chart:
Start by comparing your measurements to the size chart.  The size chart shows measurements of the finished garment taken at rest. The garment will stretch substantially.  You will want your bust & high hip measurements to be at least 4-6" smaller than the garment. Even moreso if you prefer a baggier fit. The banded bottom should be 4-6" smaller than your high hip. The high hip measurement should be taken on your body where you intend the band to fall. You may choose a regular or cropped length.  The length is taken from the back neckline to the end of the banded bottom.  All bodies are shaped differently. If your measurements fall outside of our size chart, please purchase a size that fits best in the bust & hip and add your measurements to the order notes at checkout. We will get in contact & work together with you to create a custom fitting garment.

Proper Care:
Wool is naturally antimicrobial meaning it is somewhat self cleaning, so it is not necessary to wash your wool after every wear unless the wool gets soiled or stained. You may wash every 1-2 months otherwise.

When it does come time to wash your wool, it can be machine washed on a gentle cold/cold cycle. You may use the no heat air fluff on your dryer. But for longevity of wear, we prefer laying the garment flat on a dry towel or hanging to dry. If you choose to use a detergent or wool wash when washing your wool garments, please use one with natural ingredients only. Unscented is best, as the ph of some scents can cause the dye to bleed.

If you prefer to hand wash, please don't scrub the wool against itself to remove stains as this can cause felting or pilling in the garment. Rather use a soft washcloth or your fingers to scrub the wool lightly. Leave the wool for no longer than 15 minutes in the sink basin and use a towel to roll as much excess moisture as possible. Lay flat on a dry towel or line dry.
